Propagating Roses.

I have beautiful white roses in my garden and I wanted to create more. I cut some stems and have put them in a seedling potting mix and all of my 10 stems have all started growing. Not sure how long it will take before I get flowers I'll keep you informed.

Winter colour.

Winter flowering bulbs are such a delight as they bring colour throughout the winter months. I have snowdrops and two types of daffodils flowering all over the property.

We have eight large eucalyptus trees with equally large leaves.

We had an existing veggie patch look at what we found.

Broccoli

One of our family's favourite vegetables is broccoli. I'm happy to say that I've grown it successfully and it taste great too. My only regret is I didn't plant more of them last summer.

Death by frost.
