A bouquet.
All these flowers came out of the garden and I gave them to a friend. What a great feeling to be able to gather from my garden a gift that no women can say no to.

Seedlings
It's well and truly the time of the year for planting seedlings so I got pretty excited the other day when I arrived home from my overseas trip and bought 6 tomato plants, zucchini, cucumber, eggplant, beetroot, lettuce and pumpkin. I also got them planted into the ground the same day. Still have to go and get more seedlings to fill the rest of the planter boxes, that can wait until next week.

The daffodils in my garden.
The garden came alive in winter with all these daffodils. It was such a delight to see all the different varieties just in our garden. Earlier in the year I bought a bag of 75 daffodil bulbs which I planted well before winter. I now know there was already an ample amount of daffodil bulbs in the ground. The first flower below (yellow petals, orange centre) I think would have to be one of the most perfect flowers I've ever seen. The minature daffodils look quite sweet, with up to seven flowers on one stem. I just loved walking around the garden finding new flowers growing, I loved looking at them all.
