Cucumbers

These cucumbers are growing so well with a couple of different shapes and sizes and there is plenty more to come as you can see with more flowering flowers.

Plums ready to be eaten.

Here are the plums I've shown from when they first blossomed. They have tasted so nice, we have been trying to give them away before they fall to the ground, there has been just so many of them.

Poppies

I'm not sure if I'm meant to have these growing in my garden. We have just returned from a trip to the northern parts of Tasmania and there are signs hanging on the fences surrounding growing poppies that say "Inappropriate use of this plant may cause death". I think I'll throw these in the bin.

Beetroot

This year was the second time I grew beetroot and they have grown so well. I think it's because I was able to plant them in November so they have had much more warmer weather compared to last year. I'll be juicing these ones.

Herbs

The herbs are thriving at the moment, parsley, mint, italian parsley & oregano.

Garlic & Onions.

I was really happy to have pulled these little beauties out of the garden after planting them in winter. The onion smelt like they used too when I was growing up it had such a stronger scent to it.

Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens

These are some of my favourite photos from the gardens, I think I've found a place to go and relax.

Pete's Vegie Patch

I had fun going with Reuben's class late last year to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart. We walked around and looked at the gardens and I especially fell in love with Pete's Vegie Patch. Everything was growing so well, it obviously was well keep and it was so inspiring. Plenty of ideas to go home with.

Oh dear.

This is something that was definitely meant to stay out in the garden. Marcus just thought it was sick and was hoping we could make it feel better. No more chance of that.

Walnut Tree.

This tree gives us walnuts and also provides the kids with some entertainment.
