Seedlings

It's well and truly the time of the year for planting seedlings so I got pretty excited the other day when I arrived home from my overseas trip and bought 6 tomato plants, zucchini, cucumber, eggplant, beetroot, lettuce and pumpkin. I also got them planted into the ground the same day. Still have to go and get more seedlings to fill the rest of the planter boxes, that can wait until next week.

Silverbeet

Along with the carrots another plant that grew really well was silverbeet which was another veggie I could go and cut out of the garden as I needed it. (Great to throw into stir fries). As there is so much of the silverbeet I feed the excess to the chooks.
