Jackson's Daffodils.

Last weekend we visited Jackson's Daffodils open weekend. (I asked Jon to come along and told him he can come take some photos for me, I thought that would be enough to convince him to come along, lol). They open up their acres of daffodils for the public to come and visit and have a look. We had about 10 mins to look around before it started raining again. I thought it all looked so beautiful, could have walked around for hours.

Daffodils just aren't simple yellow daffodils, there are 1000's of different varieties.

After running to the car we went and had a look at some prize winning daffodils. They even had afternoon tea on offer. We certainly enjoyed our nice hot cup of tea and scones. YUM!

Hyacinths

These Hyacinths were a treasure. It was a surprise to see 2 flowers growing from 1 plant.

R.I.P. Erik.

Erik was my constant companion in the garden, no matter where I went in the garden he was by my side. We all enjoyed having him around even when he chased the chooks, or dug up veggies to bury a bone or let off the silent but ever so violent Erik farts, he was part of the family. He will be missed. xxx

Fire Wood

It's nice to know I'm not the only one in the garden. We had this huge delivery of timber delivered and Jonny has been out there chopping it up any chance he gets. It's always good when others want to give him a lending hand.
