Rhubarb

Our Rhubarb is growing brilliantly, but am wondering why it went to seed. I've never seen this before and it's so thick and chunky.

Apple Trees

The apple trees have started flowering, after last years dismal amount of apples we're hoping for a better season. I've still got many an apple pie to make and we're all looking forward to more apple juice.

Hello everyone.

Yes it's been a while, however my garden has not stopped growing and I have been rewarded yet again with beautiful daffodils which I put in vases/bottles around the house. Here is just a couple of bunches.

Broadbeans

These were a surprise when they started growing furiously out of the garden. When they first started growing I wasn't entirely sure what they were and it wasn't until Marcus had run down to the veggie patch and picked and peeled the beans himself and we discovered these pink beans. Under the pink layer was the green layer. He had so much fun doing it all, I love the finger nail marks in the beans.

Corn

Corn was so easy to grow. I planted a row of corn and next year I know to plant 3 times as much. The taste of them was so sweet and juicy.

Just another day in the garden.

It is such a delight to be able to go the veggie patch and gather all these veggies just in a matter of minutes. I love it!

Zucchini

I can't believe how big and how many zucchinis have grown, there are so many in just one plant. I'm sure I would have won an award for the biggest zucchini, lol who knows maybe everyone else's grows that big too. The zucchini slice I made was loved by all in the family so that was really good. I'm looking forward to trying to do something else with them. I've already given a few away somehow I don't think we'll get through them all, all on our own.

Gourmet Truss, Siberian Cherry & Super Roma Tomatoes.

These three are the other tomato plants that make up my selection of tomatoes. As much as I enjoy eating them I do hope that there will be enough to make some relish and try a few other things.

Sweet Cherry Gold

These are growing the best the plant is just loaded with them. Not that many of them make it back up to the house because I eat them all.

Cupid Tomatoes

These little tomatoes fascinate me, I love the shape of them and the way they grow as if there were a string of pearls. They gradually ripen at different times so there is a constant supply of them. They also grow really tall, and they are such a sweet tasting tomato.
