Before we left Australia we only had one event planned and that was with Jono and Hanna and their family. Jono is like us he has finnish parents and grew up in Australia. He now lives in Finland with his wife and children. (On a side note Jono played a big part in getting Jon and I together all those years ago). Jono's father in law came and picked us up from the Pietarsarri Habour and took us out to the Island of Mässkär, we got a little wet on the way out. It was a lovely weekend with 8-10 children running around having a great time. We went for walks, had a few rounds in the sauna of course and the guys/boys ran to the ocean for a dip. On the last night Jono lit the fire to cook the sausages on however we were unfortunately rained out and had to take cover in the terrace. The finnish summer can be sometimes unpredictable.
