Time to start holidaying.....

We've had a busy start to our trip and the time change had taken a while to adjust to, so when we arrived at Jon's aunty Tarja & uncle Jussi's place it instantly felt like somewhere we could unwind for a while.  They have a beautifully renovated home which has the sauna down by a lake, a little walk from the house.
The following morning we lit the sauna and had a few rounds of warming up in the sauna (I should say getting really hot) and then jumping into the cold water.  For me personally it was a great sight to see the boys jumping into the lake off the jetty, pushing each other in, comparing dives... the boys enjoying their summer holiday in Finland.  The rest of the time we chilled by the waters edge while the the boys played darts, Tommi caught a fish and we all ate more pancakes and smoked salmon.  Very Nice!

This is the biggest rhubarb plant I've ever seen so we've been eating rhubarb desserts.
